A proposta do PSD de aplicar taxas sobre as PPP e empresas de telecomunicações ou grande distribuição como contrapartida a um recuo no limite mínimo para os cortes salariais foi recusada pelo Governo, revela o "Público".
O PSD não deverá apresentar esta sexta-feira, 15 de Novembro, qualquer proposta de alteração ao Orçamento do Estado para 2014 no sentido de avançar com taxas sobre as PPP, telecomunicações ou empresas de grande distribuição, depois de as negociações com o Governo nesse sentido terem falhado, adianta hoje o "Público". Segundo o jornal, além das Finanças, a proposta esbarrou também com a oposição do Ministério da Economia e do próprio CDS-PP.
Ontem, vários deputados social-democratas estiveram reunidos no Ministério das Finanças para ultimar as propostas de alteração ao Orçamento do Estado, que deverão ser entregues hoje no Parlamento até às 18 horas.
A receita a conseguir com as taxas em causa deveria permitir, como contrapartida, mitigar os cortes previstos para a função pública, estabelecendo que se aplicariam a salários acima de 700 euros e não de 600 euros, como previsto. Os deputados propunham ainda uma redução na sobretaxa do IRS.
O Governo terá no entanto contraposto que a aplicação de novas taxas às empresas em questão poderia colocar em causa as renegociações em curso para diminuir a factura com as PPP. Já no que toca a contribuições de outras grandes empresas, como as telecomunicações ou a grande distribuição, a oposição, diz a TSF, terá vindo do Ministério da Economia, que
não quer sobrecarregar empresas de forma que poderia vir a prejudicar o investimento e o emprego.
Ontem foram já conhecidas as propostas do PS, não havendo ainda indicações sobre a abertura que poderá haver, por parte do Governo, no sentido de vir a aceitar alguma ou algumas propostas.
